To start playing AIM DAY USA™: Targets Shooter without AIM DAY USA TM accessories, all you need is a red laser pointer available at most office supply and convenience stores and the determination to take laser dot entertainment monopoly away from cats. This will require two players, one projecting the target with a red laser pointer and the other using the application to “catch” the target.

The controls are as following:
- the target has to be within the scope ring when the user presses the “fire” button in order to catch the target;
- the scope ring can be turned on and off using the slide button at the top right corner;
- in order to make the game harder, the scope can be zoomed-in into the “PRO” position, thus limiting the field of view and increasing the difficulty of the game;
- the user gets ten attempts and at the end the score is displayed;
